Caspar Henderson

Caspar Henderson is working on The Book of Barely Imagined Beings:  A 21st Century Bestiary, for which he has received the Author’s Foundation Roger Deakin Award 2009 and The Royal Society of Literature Jerwood Award for Non Fiction 2009. 

He has been a journalist and editor with various publications and broadcasters. He is a past recipient of an IUCN-Reuters award for best environmental reporting in Western Europe. And he has worked as a consultant and advisor with leading voluntary organisations, government and international agencies. He co-authored Our Fragile Earth (New Internationalist, 2005) and was the commissioning editor for Debating Globalization (Polity, 2005).
